Vicki's really being put through the wringer. This is probably the worst possible situation for her - knowing that she could do something, that she should do something, but being rendered unable to by her own heart. That's a special kind of powerlessness right there.
This is just looking like one no win situation after another. So, where do you go from.here? Sacrifice Johnathan to destroy Citoria? Find a way to imprison the god elsewhere? I can't think of a way this ends well that is remotely reasonable.
This is a truly difficult impasse. I'm very concerned for how this will turn out for the end of this chapter and what the implications for Victoria's decision with handling this situation will be and effect the rest of the story overall.
